Getting out and about today

We visited a playground.

Then we came home and got the slip 'n slide out.

Nothing really exciting, just some needed time outside.

More photo editing practice

Here are some of the ones that I attempted to do this week. Photo editing can be fun, sometimes time consuming. So I don't get a lot of time to work on them. I am working on photos so that I can finally get back to scrapbooking this fall when all the kids are in school.

Strawberry Picking

Here are the pictures we took today picking strawberries at a Farmer's Market we like to visit, and the rare occurance of my son when he isn't gaming, or sleeping.

Quality time with eachother

With such an age difference, this seems like a rare occurance in our house. They actually sat down together and decided to play cards.

I have been playing with different types of backgrounds in PSP just to see what they do. This one is different.

Our Blog

End of week May 9, 2009 I know that I probably should have started this before now. But I feel like I always have something that I have to be doing instead of sitting in front of a computer. So my plan is to at least once a week, probably a Friday or Saturday is to start keeping a blog of the week with pictures and post for family who wants to keep up with what is going on here. May 9, 2009 Today we stopped by a Farmer's Market that we had been to last summer. They have the best honey! We like to try when we can and buy vegetables locally. Well this time they had hay rides to their strawberry patch around back of the market. So the girls were able to pick their own strawberries that we bought…..

next time I will remember the camera.

Here is a peak into John's deployment last year. He was sent to Kuwait for a 6 month deployment two months after we had moved to Virginia, didn't seem like nearly enough time for me to get comfortable with the area and learn my way around. He came home ten days before Christmas.

Those are the patrol boats that were used to patrol the rivers on deployment.

The hummers they drove.

Some camels

I like how Lexie can be a princess one minute....
and a little girl who likes to get dirty, playing with worms the next.

John was able to be home this winter to enjoy the girls' first snow, and Anthony's first time getting to really enjoy it, Since he was to young to remember snow in Kansas.
